Values
A NON-DENOMINATIONAL, JESUS-LOVING BIBLE CHURCH.
We believe that each church has the same mission given to us by Jesus,
while having a unique vision for how they will accomplish that mission,
we also believe that each church will have a unique culture shaped by what it values.
These are the cultural pieces that we believe make our church unique.
We are a Simple Church.
We believe that a church is meant to feel like a family, and to function like a body - where each person has a part & function within the community. So, our church has a casual family like multi-generation makeup that encourages people to engage in a depth of relationship and in loving service of others.
We are a Jesus-Loving Bible Church.
We believe that an EKG is more important than an IQ test; that the condition of your heart is more significant than the amount of knowledge that you possess.
So, we hold the expositional teaching of scripture as a high value, and believe that all of the Bible is all about Jesus.
We are a Relational Church.
We believe that we may learn in rows, but that we most effectively grow in circles. So, we function as a church of home groups (not merely a church with home groups) with the goal of having each person here experience the great joy & blessing of being known and loved inside a church.
We are a Missional Church.
We believe that the success of our church is not based upon what is said, sung, or done each time that we gather. But that it is based upon what those in our community choose to do when they leave our Sunday gathering; because scripture says that they are the ministers (Ephesians 4:11-13). So, we gather each week to be encouraged and equipped, in order to scatter effectively into the community that we live & work in.
We are a Generous Church.
We believe that Jesus has been generous with us in a way that no one else has been. So, we believe that our church community should be generous with our gifts, time, & resources in our engagement with others.
